Description
The North Face Men's Venture Jacket is a lightweight, waterproof, and breathable jacket designed for hiking, backpacking, climbing-any adventure in warmer, wet conditions. The Venture features HyVent DT, a highly breathable, waterproof fabric with a raised microdot inner surface that acts to lift the shell fabric away from your skin. This provides a comfortable, soft, easy-sliding feel while maximizing moisture transport away from your skin. The result: you stay drier and warmer. The lightweight Venture jacket weighs in at a mere 12.5 ounces, has an adjustable, rollable hood, a brushed chinguard lining, and Underarm zips so you don't roast when rainy weather gets a little too warm. This highly compressible jacket stows away in its own left pocket. Other nice touches include Velcro adjustable cuffs, two hand pockets, and a hem cinchcord.

Summary
Product Title: The North Face Venture Jacket - Men's
Manufacturer: The North Face
Power Score: 4.0 | 1 Review
Great Jacket for East Coast Humid/Misty/Rainy...
Strengths: Tough Hyvent material, easily packable in left-hand pocket, pit-zips, reflective logos for night, very lightweight
Weakness: Size Large runs a little big in Mens (in between L and XL), zippers get stuck near velcro closures along track, cuffs need to be stronger.
I own about 7 TNF products and wear them regularly. I bought this jacket for the DC weather in spring with afternoon thunderstorms. It works great. The material is a little "crinkly" and not smooth, but it is really lightweight and that is a huge plus. You barely know you are wearing it. I have another pull-over TNF that is similar, but I would recommend it for the the price IF on sale!
