JS Boutique Cutaway Shoulder Beaded Waist Dress

Lovely and Comfortable

I purchased this dress as a mother of the groom dress for my son's wedding. I have big hips and a small-ish bust. This dress really helped to emphasize my figure, especially my waist. Lots of compliments and an added bonus was that I got it on sale!

poor beading quality

would have probably given this 4 stars at this price if beading quality was better - a good many beads already missing - worried what would happen with actual wear and then cleaning. also, armholes are a bit big/low. if not for the price, would have given it 1 star for those factors alone. however, must say the fabric and overall flow are pretty good at this price point, halter style neckline is...

Uncomfortable at the neckline

I had to return this gown because the halter neckline sat so close to my neck that it choked me. I had to keep pulling the neckline away from my neck while I was showing my husband how the dress fit. I had to return this gown because the halter neckline sat so close to my neck that it choked me. I had to keep pulling the neckline away from my neck while I was showing my husband how the dress fit. I couldn't imagine going through an entire evening feeling this way, so back into the box it went. The other issue I had with the dress was the way it fit me at the bust. I am not as small as the model (my bra size is 32E) and the gathered jersey at the top of the gown accentuated by boobs in a way that was not flattering. The reason I chose 'Yes' to recommend the dress to a friend is because I have friends whose body type this gown would flatter. The gown is well-made, and flattered my body from the waist down. The center-front slit is an impressive feature and adds a sexy touch to the gown.

Elegant!

Receive it today. Fits perfect but a little long, still beautiful!!! I wonder if Nordstrom will alter it if I bring it to the story?
